Lessons 4 You
Here you'll find a unique approach to taking 'piano lessons on the internet. Essentially, this approach mimics
using a real teacher except that everything is done 'virtually' online. You start by purchasing Alfred's Adult Piano Book and paying your $25 fee for 10 lessons. You then receive a password
which lets you take lessons at your own pace. The sample lesson posted online shows how this is done through the
use of RealAudio, diagrams, and written instruction. You record your progress on cassette (5 lessons at a time),
and mail it to the instructor, who then critiques you and offers suggestions. You can ask the instructor questions
any time via email.
The Music of Paul
Copeland
Piano instructors take note! Composer and piano teacher Paul Copeland is offering free sheet music from his original
instrumental arrangements for piano, organ, flute and guitar. Some of these are great for kids (Cheeky Toad Blues,
Waltz of the Golliwogs), having been written by Paul specifically for his students. Check out the
original duets for kids! If you are a 'student' at a more technical level, you'll enjoy the more advanced selections.
Each composition is easily downloadable in *.gif or *.pdf format. MIDI files are also available. If you have a
few extra moments, enjoy the musical word find puzzles (also great for students), Paul's online concerts, and his
Andy Warhol tribute!

ABC Pictures
ABC is the premier photographic duplication company for artists looking to procure photo slicks or other promotional
materials for your press kit! We have personally worked with ABC and can vouch for their price, quality, service
and turn around time. ABC offers 8x10s, posters, postcards, business cards, and cassette inserts. Highly recommended.
Call and request their catalog. Reviewed 2/17/2000.
Accupress CD Manufacturing and Duplication
This site is worth visiting if only to enjoy the creative design.
Aside from that, AccuPress offers duplication packages for both CD's and cassettes at VERY reasonable prices. Their
very cool online quote system quoted us $1179 for 500 CDs (basic layout) including film. Looking for just cassettes?
Prices are excellent for cassette only packages. (You provide the design, get 500 cassettes for $590, film included).
AccuPress can also provide you with promotional materials such as postcards, posters, promotional photos and release
flyers.

Labels invest in MP3
Record labels are quietly putting money into Web companies backing MP3 while they let their trade association sue
them. Earlier this month the Recording Industry Association of America sued MP3.com and Napster because it claims
they are helping pirates make illegal copies of records. At the same time, record companies are putting money into
a website that categorises MP3 tracks and lets people download them across the Web.
