Featured Reviews
Alfred Publishing: Piano Methods
Alfred Publishing has something of interest for every pianist, and there's quite
a lot of original material here. Check out the Piano Student Starter Kit, The Sheet Music Club, The "Teach
Yourself" series, and any of a number of great piano software selections. This is a classy site, very professionally
done. Recommended visiting.
Digibid.com
If you're looking for new equipment, whether it be pro audio, video, or musical instruments, be sure to visit Digibid.
Digibid.com is an online auction house specializing in music related merchandise. On the day we visited, featured
auctions included compressors, harmonizers, mics, amplifiers, monitors, FX cards, instruments and lots more. Everything
is covered by a money-back guarantee. You can also, of course, sell your own gear on Digibid. With
60,000 visitors to the site every month, there's a lot to choose from.
Free Sheet Music Mailing List
Primo Tema music publishers have started up a free sheet music mailing list to help
promote Italian classical and popular music. The sheet music is written both for accordian and piano, and will
be mailed to subscribers in *.pdf format (most files 100k -200k in size). Subscribing is easy and of course free.
mPULSE
mPULSE bills itself as the "Billboard Magazine" of the Internet. Sites, band pages, and songs are charted
based upon how many hits they receive during a particular day. You as an artist can register your site or song
with mPULSE (free of charge) and once you place their HTML into your page, watch to see if you make their top 10
(up to 100 sites are listed at a time). You can register as many pages (or songs) as you want for free. The HTML
you have to put into your page is invisible to your visitor, so fortunately there are no irritating graphics you
have to worry about. Finally, top 10 lists are generated for genre as well as all-around best sites so there
is something for everyone.
Transit Digital CD Manufacturing
Transit Digital offers musicians a ton of manufacturing options. CD/Cassette packages are reasonably priced and
include design and film production. Options include bulk discs, sleeves, digipaks, and a lot more. Clients include
everyone from unsigned bands to Fortune 100 companies. Check out their specials.
