Pianist Resources

Accompanists.org
A free listing service for accompanists, pianists, organists, and keyboardists. List yourself or search for an accompanist by region.

The Mayron Cole Piano Method
A resource for piano teachers or students, Mayron Cole's piano teaching products combine music theory, scales, music history, rhythm workouts, practice sheets and performance music into one large book rather than in three or four smaller books (how convenient!). View the 'Muse News' for sample pages or the complete catalog for books, videos, and other materials related to this teaching method.

Music-Scores.com
Music-Scores.com is a fantastic resource for those looking for free classical sheet music. This well organized (and well stocked!) repository features all the greats, including music by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Handel, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Pachabel, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky. Search by composer or instrument. A section is set aside for beginners as well! Scores are free and available to download in either the Sibelius format (get the plug-in
here), or in the more common *pdf format. Music-Scores.com is well worth the visit.

Neko's Guide to Anime Sheet Music
Hey Japanese Animation fans! Here you'll find free sheet music and midi files for those wacky cartoons! Pages are available in *.gif format ready to print out right from your web browser. Featured toons include Sailor Moon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Marmalade Boy and others.

The Notation Machine
Can't find the sheet music you're looking for? Then hop on over to the Notation Machine. This fantastic service, provided by Jason Silver at CrookedBush.com, takes you step by step through the process of
creating your own sheet music from MIDI files. The site guides each step of the way, first demonstrating how and where to find the MIDI file for the song you want, then showing you how to download it and convert it to printable sheetmusic using one of many free notation software titles available. Although there is a small fee to use the service, once you're in, you can use it as much as you want.

Songs of Praise: Original Worship Sheet Music
Here you'll find a unique collection of original songs for worship and praise in your church. This well organized site features perhaps a hundred or more songs, each with free downloadable sheet music you can print right from your web browser. Each song also has a midi file, and many of the songs also have RealAudio and MP3 files to listen to. Many songs even include translations, for French, Dutch, Italian and even Chinese. Very nicely done.

Independent Music Resources

The Bards Crier
This new free guerrilla music marketing ezine for the working musician comes from Marc Gunn, a working musician himself. The newsletter contains some helpful articles on information such as How to Turn Your Band into a Profitable Business, Guerrilla Marketing Techniques, and Cost-Effective Promotion Tips. We also enjoy the Web Sites You Can't Do Without section.

The Internet Marketing Chronicles
We just ran across this fantastic free newsletter which is honestly one of the best we've seen. It's chock full of effective Internet marketing strategies! Most can be applied to selling your music as well as anything else. Details Here!
