How to Determine the Age and Value of Your Piano

It's really quite amazing how many requests we get from folks looking to determine the age of value of their piano. So, we did a little research. Here are a few places you can go to find out:

PianoWorld
PianoWorld is probably the #1 source of information for pianos on the Internet. If you supply PianoWorld with the manufacturer and serial number of your piano, they will do the research for you and for a nominal fee of $2.00 will tell you the age of your piano. The information about your piano will be emailed to you within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Date information for a number of manufacturers is listed at their site also, so you may be able to answer your own question without having to submit payment.

Other services PianoWorld provides:

Finding Vertical Piano Serial Numbers
Includes Spinets, Consoles, Studios, Uprights.

Finding Grand Piano Serial Numbers
All sizes of grand pianos.
