File Download Problems...
The most common order-related question we receive is from customers who have had difficulty downloading a PDF file they purchased. If this is your situation, please don't panic. Simply email us and we will get the file to you. Be sure to check our Office Status above to see if we are in.

How do I download my PDF file?
On the order confirmation page (just after the credit card authorization is complete) there was a download link, along with a user name and password you'd need to enter to access the file. If you didn't see this, and you need file access, please email us and we will get you the file. Just be aware that if we are out of the office it may take us a few days to get back to you. We WILL answer your email. If we are in the office, we will answer your email within 12 hours.

My Password Doesn't Work!
On the download page you will see something like this (this is just an example):


Click here to Download 'Product Name'. Your username / password = lemon / twist.

That means that when you click on the link and are prompted, in the username field you should type
lemon. In the password field you should type twist.

In other words, don't type '
lemon / twist' in both fields.

Note: The username and password are CASE SENSITVE.

How do I open a PDF file?
PDF files require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them. You can download this free from Adobe via this page. After you download Acrobat Reader, install it, and by default all files with a *.pdf extension will open in the reader.

How do I save my PDF file?
If your *.pdf file opens in your web browser (which it usually does), just above the main window you will see the Adobe Reader toolbar. The third icon from the left looks like a floppy disk. Click on this and you'll be prompted to save your file to your local computer.

The PDF file isn't working or displaying properly...
In virtually every case in which display problems or errors have been reported, the problem is related to using an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, usually version 3.0 or earlier. To solve virtually ANY problem viewing PDFs, simply download and install the latest version. You can download this free from Adobe via this page.

How do I open a EXE file?
We compress large files (or large quantities of files) into self-extracting files to save on space. Opening these files is an easy matter. Save the *.exe file to a local directory on your computer, and when you double-click on the *.exe file to open it, the PDF files will be extracted to the directory of your choice. (You will be prompted for where to place them.). By default, this will be your TEMP directory.

Can you email me the file?
Yes, that's not a problem. Just email us and we will get you the file. Just be aware that if we are out of the office it may take us a few days to get back to you. We WILL answer your email. If we are in the office, we will answer your email within 12 hours.

How long before I receive my book/CD?
All books and CDs are shipped within 3 business days (though usually within 48 hours). CDs are mailed U.S. 'first class', and books via Priority Mail. If you are in the U.S., please allow ten days for delivery. If you are outside the U.S., we ship Global Priority Mail whenever possible. Even so, please allow at least four weeks for your package to arrive overseas due to customs.
